We love Leo’s!! 🔥

Sometimes the best thing we can do with leftovers is make sure they don’t go to waste. 💚

When we have sandwiches left at the end of the day, we turn them into something a little more meaningful.

We pack them up with cold bottles of water and bags of chips, and Leo gets to help hand them out to people in our community who could use a meal.

As a small family business, we want Leo to grow up understanding that food is more than what we make and sell every day—it’s also a way to take care of people.

He absolutely loves getting to help, and we love watching him learn that even a simple sandwich, a bag of chips, and a cold drink can mean something to someone. ❤️

No food wasted. A few people fed. And one little boy learning what it means to take care of his community.

That’s the kind of business—and the kind of family—we hope to keep building. 💚

Announcing a new membership community we’re calling The Goldberry Guild! When you join the guild you participate in bringing good books to our community while also gaining access to some super useful perks.

Here’s how it works: A Goldberry Membership is $49 per year, and with it you get:

• 10% off all in-person sales (including paid events),

• 25% off event space rentals,

• early access to events,

• the special Goldberry Guild bookmark, pin, and sticker pack


Guild members can even combine a membership discount with other specials we run, like holidays and National Independent Bookstore Day.

Oh, and we’ll also be hosting occasional in-person get-togethers for members at which you will be able to chat with likeminded book lovers. Maybe some bookish snacks and trivia will be involved.

However you support us, however you help us build for the future, we’re grateful. We exist for you and without you wouldn’t be here. Our goal is to be here not just for a few more years, but for decades. We hope this is a multi-generational endeavor, something that stays in Concord for the long haul—if you’ll have us, of course.
