🤔 CLIENT REQUEST: We just purchased a home with a water feature that is leaking. Can you help us?

⭐️ STAR RIDGE AQUATICS SOLUTION: Star Ridge Aquatics determined that the leaking was in the stream/waterfall area. We proposed a plan to reconfigure the stream / waterfall using new materials. The entire project included the following updates: new rock, new filter pads and bio-media, a complete pond cleaning, and new water lilies.

💦 CLIENT QUESTION: I woke up this morning to my Koi pond covered in whitish foam. What is happening?

🐟 STAR RIDGE AQUATICS ANSWER: After looking at the photos, we informed the pond owner that her Koi had spawned. We suggested that she clean her skimmer net and brushes well, as they will be covered in eggs and foam. She found exactly what we had expected - lots of very sticky eggs! All the organics from the spawning episode was causing the foam, so an extra dose of Sludge Remover Beneficial Bacteria was in order to combat the excess nutrient load.
