Our new tweeter WaveGuide for SB26ADC is here: PureShape, the Convex wavefront with cut-circular to rectangular transition is released with a 90°x60° constant directivity coverage.

Its flexible design and strong loading capability allow us to offer it in all sizes from 14 to 24cm and enable very low crossover points, adding up to +12 dB of output in the lower range compared to the bare tweeter. Easy to cut even passively.

PureShape is our new tweeter waveguide using the SB26 ADC tweeter, designed for convex wavefront radiation without any phase plug or shield. It uses a brand-new cut circular-to-rectangular transition, achieving constant directivity: 90° horizontal × 70° vertical.

The 18S ND1090 has been added to the 1" test. It’s one of the better options and among the easiest to filter, even with passive crossovers. SPL consistency is good across the four drivers, with differences appearing above 9 kHz due to diaphragm height tuning, as usual. As a result, polar plots show slight variations between units above 9 kHz, which is normal as well (diaphragm breakup also plays its part here).
