Wake up! We need to get going! Let's go! Today, May 23rd, is Mayfest in Downtown Bennington. This is one of tge biggest events of the year! There are booths, entertainment. And of course, my home made cookies 😁. Plus, The King's KnitWit is having a tag sale to benefit a new theater group called The South Shire Theater Company. We are hoping to get a big crown today, so Winston, you needvto look your cutest... as if that is ever a problem 😁.

Winston wants everyone to know about an amazing event taking place this weekend (5/8-5/10) at The King's KnitWit. This weekend, The King's KnitWit is participating in the "Sheep in the Shires Yarn Crawl". 8 yarn shops/ farms are having an open house with sales and give aways. At the first stop you will receive your passport and directions to other stores. If you complete the tour, you can turn in your passport for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate for that store. This is just a fun way to get out and see some beautiful countryside and help out small businesses. Winston is urging everyone take part in the fun, and not be left out in the cold.

Winston is a little upset this morning. The owners of The King's KnitWit opened their doors to find construction blocking the entrance. Thus, The King's KnitWit will be closed today, April 30th, until 1;00 pm. Please note, we will also be using The Lobby entrance until further notice for the convenience of our patrons. This will make the boss a happy puppy. 😁
