These are second-run hides. This means they may have cosmetic imperfections like scars, brands, holes, loose grain, drawn grain, tannery swatch cuts, or even simply not matching a desired finished color.

Maverick’s May Sale: SAVE 10% on Pearl Horn Wrap and other USA Made Leathers, Tools and Supplies

Pearl Horn Wrap is a full-grain, chrome-tanned utility leather that’s tough as nails and built to work.

Perfect work leather for saddle horn wraps and heavy-duty chaps, including batwings and Arizona bells. Also ideal for utility goods such as welding and horseshoeing aprons.

7–8oz thickness, averaging 7 to 8 feet in length from neck to tail. Made in the USA.

Also available in a tumbled variation – the tumbling process gently breaks in the grain, creating a softer, more comfortable temper that’s easier to handle and work with.
