STAY CLOSE. We're doing a FLASH drop ASAP.

Something new is almost ready and I have been wearing both of these on repeat for weeks now.

Two new pieces are joining the collection (maybe as early as today?!) and I am so excited for you to see them. One is built for sunny summits and river crossings and basically anything you do outside in the sun. The other is the comfiest softest short I have ever designed and it might become the thing you grab for every single summer adventure from here on out.

They pair together perfectly and they are both made from fabrics I am really proud of.

Don't miss out! I cannot wait to share everything!

Packing for travel and packing for the trail are the same exact thing to me now and that realization makes everything so much simpler!

I wear the same gear on the plane that I wear on the trail and it works beautifully for both. The pockets that hold your stuff without digging into you when you sit down for eight hours? That works on a summit and it works in a middle seat. The temperature regulation that keeps you comfortable when the airplane is freezing and the terminal is not? Same exact thing happens on a trail when you drop elevation fast. And the odor resistance that keeps everything fresh through a long trail day does the same job through a long travel day.

One system, one set of gear, and it just works everywhere. My packing got so much lighter once I leaned all the way into that and I love how simple it makes every trip now.

If you are ready to pack one wardrobe instead of two, this is where you start. Link in bio!

Summer is here and the Travel T-Shirt is exactly the piece for it!

These colors are so good for this time of year and the breezy fit means so much airflow on the sweatiest days. The sleeve length gives you that great combination of a flattering look and real sun coverage, and I love how it works for absolutely everything. I am wearing one every single day right now, whether I am out on the trail or packing for my next trade show.

This is the shirt for summer. Link in bio to find your fun color!

Just got back from Reno and the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance Discovery Marketplace and I am feeling really good about that trip.

Thank you so much to the team at Grassroots Outdoor Alliance for putting together such a well run event. The energy in that space was something else and it is one of those trade shows where you leave genuinely inspired rather than just tired!

Getting to see some familiar Alaska faces in the crowd was such a nice surprise and reconnecting with brand owner friends I only get to see a few times a year is always one of my favorite parts of these events. But the thing I am most excited about is the retailer conversations we had. Meeting store owners from across the country who are passionate about what they carry and genuinely care about the brands they bring into their shops, that is exactly the kind of growth we are here for.

Alpine Fit is expanding with the retailers who are part of GOA and that feels really right to me. It was fun to see retailers we already work with (thank you!) and meet others that are working on orders to carry our gear soon! These are independent outdoor specialty stores run by people who love this stuff as much as we do. That is our community and we are so glad to be growing within it!

More to come on the retail side of things soon. Feeling appreciative!

Some people want a sports car and an open road. Some want a lightweight hiking shirt and a trail. And we appreciate that so much!

This is exactly who we design for. The person who knows what actually makes her happy and goes after it. A good shirt, a good trail, a good day outside.

If this is you, check the link in our bio! We are here for you.

What do I actually reach for if the temperature drops on a big day out? The answer is always the Fastpacker Fleece. Not because it is the warmest thing I own but because it earned its spot in my layering system and just does its job without adding weight or bulk. I recently realized we are all about the Goldilocks solutions around here: we demand that every detail is juuuuust right.

The Polartec Alpha Direct 90 fabric is specifically engineered for active output. The open mesh structure keeps heat and moisture moving so you stay regulated instead of just warm. And at under 4 oz it packs down small enough that there is genuinely no reason not to bring it. That is the thing I was most deliberate about when we built this. I wanted something you would actually throw in your pack on every trip, not just the cold ones, because the weather can always change and you want to be ready.

The scuba hood with the ponytail exit, the thumbhole loops, the high-low hem that pairs well with mid-rise bottoms. Every small decision was made with real movement in mind and I am really proud of how it all came together.

If you have been looking for that one midlayer that actually pulls its weight without adding any, this is it. Link in bio!

Some of you have been asking what is different about the Travel T-Shirt this year and I am so glad you asked because I have a lot to say about it!

The original Travel T-Shirt fabric versus the two new ones we launched this spring, why we chose them, and the part about where the Sea-Renity fabric actually comes from that genuinely surprises everyone.

Watch the full reel for the full nerdy explanation! (I love materials).

And if you have already been wearing the new one, I would love to know which fabric you went with. Drop it in the comments!

Link in bio to shop both versions.

The length was non-negotiable from the start.

We knew exactly what we wanted it to do. Breezy, modern, covers the belly button with your arms at rest and when you are leaning forward on your bike, but still has that fun cropped-like feel that makes you want to wear it literally everywhere. That very specific sweet spot was the goal from the start and we nailed it!

Too long and it loses the whole thing that makes it special. Too short and it stops working for real life. Where does it need to land to feel right on the most people on the most days? And this is where we ended up and I am really proud of it.

Here is the thing though. Most people absolutely love it and some people don't! And honestly that is okay with me because you are not making anything interesting if everyone has the exact same reaction to it. A little bit of controversy means you actually made a decision instead of designing something safe and forgettable.

We also launched it in two fabrics because I could not choose just one, and five colors because we have not had color like this in years and I was not holding back. Sea-Renity bionic nylon for warm technical days and merino wool for the mornings that still can not decide what season they are.

Who loves it?! Tell me in the comments! And link in bio if you have not seen it yet.

Okay so these past few weeks have been a lot, in the best way but also just genuinely a lot.

I've been the one modeling the gear, running to the post office, inspecting fabric samples, answering emails between school pickups, packing orders on the living room floor, traveling for business, setting up at events, and then doing it all over again the next day. Oh and we just launched the Travel T-Shirt spring collection which has honestly been years in the making and I am so proud of how it turned out! This is what running a small business that you actually love looks like and I would not trade it, but I also will not pretend it is always graceful!

There is no version of Alpine Fit that exists without all of these moving parts happening at the same time. The behind the scenes is messy and full and real and I think that is the part I am most proud of. We are not a big operation. We are a small team of people who care a lot, building something we genuinely believe in, one long day at a time.

If you have ever wondered what it looks like behind the feed, well, this is it. All of it, all at once, all the time! And if you have not seen the new Travel T-Shirt yet, it is at the link in bio and the new colors are so worth a look.

Thank you for being here and for supporting something that is made with this much love and this much chaos.

I've been reading your messages and I genuinely cannot keep these to myself.

When we designed the Backpacker Barrel Leg, I knew exactly what I wanted it to do and how I wanted it to feel on a real day outside. And reading what you have been sending in and leaving in reviews this week, you are describing exactly that. Word for word, the things we worked so hard to get right. That does not happen by accident and it means everything to me to hear it.

This is why we do this. Not just to make gear but to make gear that actually shows up for you on the trail, on the hike, on the day that turned into something more than you planned for. Reading your messages this week has been such a full heart warming experience for me and our whole small team.

If you have the Backpacker Barrel Leg, thank you for taking them out into your adventures and for taking the time to tell us about it. And if you have been on the fence, come read what people are saying at the link in bio. I think it will tell you everything you need to know.

So much love and appreciation for this community.
