Does anyone know anyone that repairs stained glass?? I picked up an awesome floor lamp with a stained glass shade that was damaged. It's not an expensive item, but I think it looks cool.

Let's do this as Today's Find of the Day...

Behold: one absolutely glorious handblown gazing ball / witch’s ball / friendship ball / magical orb of questionable but powerful energy, perched dramatically atop a 30" wooden pedestal. Overall height is around 42", because subtlety was never part of the plan.

This thing is AWESOME. I fully intended to keep it. Unfortunately, I also live in reality — where dogs have tails and osessions with balls, kids... well they are kids.... I shouldn'thave to explain that, and everyday life specializes in turning fragile objects into expensive sound effects.

Honestly, this beauty would survive approximately -3.4 seconds in my house before becoming a very artistic pile of shattered glass on the floor.

So PLEASE come rescue this magnificent orb before I convince myself “it’ll be safe over here” and we all know how that story ends.

Now I'm sitting here thinking I might need to make a road trip and go get some.

Do I know anything about raising peacocks? Nope.
Would I be willing to learn? Yup.
Am I actually going to drive to Ohio to get them? I'm gonna say probably not... but honestly, who knows???? 🤷‍♀️

For some unknown ADHD reason I'm on a peacock kick (obsession maybe????) it all started with this MCM Burwood peacock, that I almost passed on, but jumped on it at the last minute.

Then this is my latest peacock piece. This is a Yoshinobu Hara limited edition Chokin art peacock plate with 24k gold edging. (Yes I copied this directly from Google search results, because I've got a million things running through my head right now and all of my descriptions were garbage)..

Find a local business near you and go check them out.

I know Walmart and Amazon are convenient, and let's be honest... sometimes they might even be cheaper. But there’s something different about shopping local. Whether it’s homemade food, handcrafted products, flowers, baked goods, or unique finds, small businesses put a whole lot of themselves into what they do.

When you're supporting a local business, you're supporting someone who has their name, time, energy, and heart invested in what they create. Big corporations will keep rolling either way... but small businesses truly appreciate every customer who walks through the door.

So go find a local bakery, flower shop, nursery, restaurant, or little shop and show them some love. You might find something awesome... and make someone's day while you're at it.
