I know this isn’t shop related, but I figured posting here would reach the people who helped rescue Bally, better than my own page.

When we were looking into adopting a dog, I saw her picture on GoodBoy Dog Recovery page when they dropped off some found pups at Angel's Retreat. The last pic is the photo we saw on their page and we just fell in love with that Ewok face😍

7 days later, we picked her up and she is fitting in so well with our family. Even better than we hoped. She is the most chill and go with the flow dog we’ve had. Just a photo can save a life🤍
Video is of her and her new sister, Stevie playing this morning. Her name is now Griselda, the goblin queen of Huffs Church✨

✨Griselda, AKA Grizzy, the goblin queen of Huffs Church, keeper of the moss, eater of crumbs, knower of secrets, lover of squeaky toys✨

We adopted her yesterday from Angel's Retreat who rescued her from ACCT Philly a week prior, found as a stray. Her profile says 4 yo and we hope to have a playmate for Stevie, but we will be making a vet appt this week to learn more. We do know she was a mama before getting spayed 2 days ago.
Either way, this little lady is now part of the family😍

She is very sweet and quiet. We can’t wait to get to know her✨

Note: we applied for 2 dogs and a foster position over a month. On Hansel’s birthday (my soul dog that passed in January), we were contacted about Griselda (formerly Bally) saying we were approved. I was already crying the day away, when we got the news. It felt like a sign. 🥲

On our way home from errands today, Mr. Coyne abruptly pulled over bc he saw a kid holding a sign for a farm stand.
“I have cash today!”
He ripped money out of his wallet and asked me to buy something bc he passes by often but never has cash. With Stevie and child in the car, I bought some baked goods from such a lovely family and their articulate and polite son who clearly knew their products!
We got home, enjoyed lunch with baked desserts and they were amazing!!! 🤩

I’m wondering if I can do a weekly order of some baked goods for the shop. They had so many options!

Practically Witchy is a family-owned business in Barto, PA, right next to the historic Huffs Church. The shop is small and attached to our private residence, so finding a trustworthy employee is very important to us.
