July 31, 2011 is the first day take heart opened for business! 15 years ago today!

I want to thank everyone who has been along with us on this journey and for all your love and support of our small business!

I want to particularly thank my mother Kathleen who has worked with me in the shop in a variety of roles since the beginning, all of the wonderful and creative people who are currently part of our gifted take heart team and those who worked with us over all the years, the BEST customers a business could ever ask for, our content coordinator Penny, our neighbors on E 11th Street, all the wonderful small businesses we are in good company with in East Austin, our landlords over the years who value small businesses, our many creative collaborators, my business coach Natalie Davis, our MANY talented vendors from far and near, our many delivery people who get all the special goods to us, and our indispensable accountant Blaine Gary!

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, as it takes a true team, to keep a small business growing and thriving over 15 years ♥️🌱
