As I sit on the floor of Party Cat today with tears in my eyes I am reminiscent of so many years past that I would sit and catch my breath after the holiday season came to an end. Today is the mark of a different season coming to an end. Today I turned off the lights and locked the door for one last time.
Party Cat is not going away. It will just be different. It is now time to regroup, catch my breath and start fresh in my life. Over the past few years I have been through a divorce (ended up being the start to a new and beautiful life), a pandemic (thank goodness for the divorce, someone else had to shelter in place with him 🤷🏼♀️), sold my house (in the height of the market), bought a new house (also in the height of the market 🤦🏼♀️), remodeled and added an addition to create my dream house (hopefully moving in this month).
This past November I had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life. I had to close Party Cat for the holiday season. I thought I would be able to reopen in January, however, between personal and family issues I was not able to do so. My tribe of friends rallied around me to help me through some difficult months and I am finally seeing light on the other side.
I want to thank everyone of you that has stood by my small business over the years. I could never ask for a better community to hold me up and support me.
To my many employees over the years….thank you! There are no words to properly express my love and gratitude for being part of my team and my life.
As I mentioned, Party Cat will be back, however, we moved to our burnet road location. It is going to take some time to regroup and set up, but, we will be coming back with exciting new changes.
Today is one of the most difficult days of my life. I loved having my retail store, however, I am optimistic for all that is ahead.
Thank you for your love, support and friendship over the years. I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Love and gratitude,
Cindy Cobuzzi and the Party Cat team. 😘❤️😘
