Hey, hey, it's a 3rd Thursday, which means a Book Club Triple Header at Dungeon's Gate! We're here 12-10 today--beat the heat and stop in to browse all the great games, books, puzzles, gifts, and more. Here's what's happening today:
♟️🎲Join us for Open Gaming in the Game Room from Noon-6. Stop in to play games off our demo shelf of 400+ games–or bring your own games in to play; we can teach the games, too.
📘Join us tonight at 6pm for our True Story Non-Fiction Book Club, where we'll be discussing Packing for Mars by Mary Roach.
📗Join us at 7pm for our Readers at The Gate (The OG) Science Fiction/Fantasy Book Club, where we'll be discussing The Dragon Has Complaints by John Wiswell.
📕 Join us tonight at 8pm as we continue our Maasive Reread Book Club (a Very Special Romantasy Book Club), where we'll be discussing Crescent City #2, House of Sky and Breath, all in the lead up to the release of ACOTAR #6 in October.
📚The current read(s) for each of our six (now seven) book clubs is always available at 20% off! Even if you haven't read the books, we'd love for you to join us. At each book club, we'll be choosing our September read, too (except Maasive Reread--that's already been chosen).

1️⃣ Join us for Open Gaming in the Game Room from Noon-5! Stop in to play games off our demo shelf of 400+ games–or bring your own games in to play; we can teach the games, too. You could bring in your Battletech, RPGs, or Magic, too.
2️⃣ Join us Tonight from 5-10 for Magic: The Gathering Commander Open Play! Bring your favorite deck(s) and get in a game or two. Deck levels and experience vary. New players are always welcome! This is a free, weekly casual Commander meetup.

Happy Tuesday, folks! Dungeon's Gate is open 12-10 today and if it's Tuesday, it's Pub Day--here are just *some* of the great new books hitting the shelves, with more on the way... You oughta know by now: on Tuesdays we play board games! Join us for our regular Board Game Night at Dungeon’s Gate ToNiGhT from 5-10 PM! Bring your favorites to get on the table and share…OR join a game (you don’t have to bring anything but yourself!)…OR…we have a demo library of 400+ demo games always available for you to play, too! This event is always Free & Open to All!! New and seasoned gamers of all ages are welcome!

Every week at Dungeon’s Gate we feature a game that you can try before you buy. This week you can learn to play Agent Avenue, where retired spies in a suburban neighborhood race to discover each other’s secrets.

Agent Avenue is a competitive card game that combines bluffing, strategic set collection, and a race to uncover your opponent's identity. Set in a colorful anthropomorphic world, players assume the roles of retired spies in a suburban neighborhood, outsmarting each other with cards that can score points or trigger special effects. The game's art brings to life a quirky neighborhood of animal spies.

Use a unique "I split, you choose" mechanic to play one card face-up and one face-down each turn. Your opponent chooses one, influencing both your strategies. Cards feature different agents and tools that impact scoring and game progress on a track, advancing the "catch me" race to uncover the opposing spy.

Outwit your opponents by strategically collecting agent sets and effectively using spy tools. The game ends when a player successfully uncovers their opponent, combining both strategic depth and bluffing elements. Perfect for those who love a mix of strategy and lighthearted competition, Agent Avenue challenges you to think like a spy and act like a friendly neighbor.

We’ll be demo-ing Agent Avenue all week long--and you can try it out: Tues-Fri 12-10, Sat 10-10, and Sun 12-10.

⚔️ Sunday Night at Dungeon's Gate is D&D At The Gate—from 5:30-9:30! We run ongoing campaigns, with occasional one-shots. Only ongoing campaigns are running tonight and we are not able to onboard new players at this time.
