I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what makes our studio feel different. ♥️
Yes, we make really fun art projects. But I think it’s so much more than that. We’re really intentional about the experience kids have when they walk through our doors. We want kids to have space to play, explore, get messy, collaborate, and try things they may have never done before.
I want every camp, class, and workshop to feel fresh and exciting. You won’t find kids sitting in front of a screen, and we rarely repeat projects. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to provide kids with special experiences that feel unique and meaningful every single time.
But honestly, the biggest thing that makes this place special is the people. Our team cares so much about these kids. Most of our staff have backgrounds in education and it shows in the way they interact with kids every day. They encourage them when they’re feeling nervous, celebrate the proud moments, help kids work through frustrations, and genuinely make them feel seen and important.
We know a lot of the kids by name. We notice when they’re feeling extra proud of something they made. We hear the stories they tell us while they create. We celebrate their personalities, not just their artwork. I think that’s why kids want to come back again and again.
This studio has never just been about crafts or keeping kids busy. It’s about creating an experience where kids feel safe, creative, confident, and connected, and that will always matter most to me.
