As of today, we're open for the season. Come see us in at the B&J Tackle Box in City of Whittier, AK and don't forget to grab your frozen bait and bags of ice. 🧊

We are proud to announce that we will be expanding on 7/2/2020 to Whittier Alaska. We will primarily be selling ice and bait at the B&J’S Tackle Box In Whittier Alaska. We look forward to seeing all of you out there and meeting new friends as well. Whittier will be a great change for B&J’s and will also help sport and commercial fishermen get the supplies they need. We strive to meet our client’s needs and that is why we are doing this expansion. We hope see you there. Thanks for all the continued support from our client base, we are very grateful for you and could not have done this without you.

Our reel repair bench is full — and that’s a good problem to have.

As of April 10, 2026, we’re temporarily pausing new reel repair requests while we work through the current lineup and give each job the attention it deserves.

We appreciate the trust you place in our work more than you know. We’ll reopen repairs as soon as we’re caught up.

In the meantime, if you’re tackling a repair yourself and need parts, we’ve got you covered. Stop by the shop or give us a call — we’ll help you get what you need.

We’ll keep you posted when we’re back up and running.
