Ludwig-Musser Percussion

Ludwig-Musser Percussion Musser mallet instruments (marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, chimes & orchestra bells) manufacturer Mr. Musser was a master performer on marimba and xylophone.

Musser Mallet Percussion Instruments have been made in the USA since our founding in 1948 by Claire Omar Musser. He originally worked for the JC Deagan Mallet Instrument Company before founding Musser Mallet Instruments in the Chicago area. Musser Mallet Instruments continue to be manufactured in Elkhart, IN. Master craftsmen create and tune the bars and tubes, make the frames, build the resonator

s and pull it all together into America’s premier line of Marimbas, Xylophones, Vibraphones, Chimes and Orchestra Bells. One compelling advantage for Musser Mallet Instruments being made in the USA is that we have parts and service readily available. We design our mallet instruments to last a long time for professionals, universities, high schools and middle schools. Instruments have to hold up and Musser always delivers. An investment in Musser Mallet Instruments is a long term investment. To keep our instruments in top working order, responsive parts and service are a cornerstone of our business. Sound is our #1 feature of Musser Mallet Instruments made right here in the USA. We promise to our customers a quality sound with exacting intonation and resonance balance. In addition, Musser Mallet Instruments are readily available. Many of our models are in stock. Models that need to be made, generally only take a few weeks to get shipped. We pride ourselves on our ability to service our customer.

Proud to support the next generation.

Together with Conn Selmer and Jazz House Kids, Ludwig-Musser donated a drum set to support a young player’s journey.

Last week, that kit went to Mr. Ahadu Chase.

Moments like this matter. Access, opportunity, and a place to grow behind the kit.

Last week, Ludwig-Musser artist Dani Markham joined the PAS Kentucky Chapter for a standout Day of Percussion at the Singletary Center for the Arts at the University of Kentucky.

A full day of playing, learning, and connection across the percussion community. Great to see so many players come together and keep things moving forward.
