French Provincial Chest On Chest Bureau from White Furniture Company

The White Furniture Company (also known as White of Mebane) was a landmark American furniture manufacturer based in Mebane, North Carolina, operating for over 112 years. Founded in 1881 by brothers William and David White, it earned a reputation as the "South's oldest maker of fine furniture" and was a primary driver of Mebane's economy for generations

This chest on chest, solid rock maple bureau was made by French and Heald.

Operated by David French and Albert Heald in Milford New Hampshire from 1856 until 1931 when the business was aquired by Sprague & Carleton.

Young and Hinkle (A division of Dixie Furniture Co which operated from 1901 until 1987) operated out of Lexington North Carolina from 1962-1987
In 1987 Masco Corporation acquired them.

(Sanded and Finished with Natural Finish).

This Company opened in 1856 and closed in 1931.
They were located in Milford New Hampshire, just 70 miles from here.
