"We've only just begun" or whatever The Carpenters

Big shout out to N-Control RC Racing Circuit for hearing my story and fueling a dream definitely will come and race a touring car in the near future!!!

This weekend at the MSM Southern Showdown was more than just RC racing for me.

I ran 1/8 RTR with my Sledge and 1/8 E-Buggy, and I’ll be honest — e-buggy humbled me. I didn’t place where I wanted, and I definitely learned how different this level of racing really is.

But in the RTR race, I was able to finish 5th, and for me that was a win.

Not because of the number, but because I showed up.

For me to even be there, I had to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I had to step into a world where I knew I wasn’t the fastest, wasn’t the most experienced, and didn’t have everything figured out. But I still lined up. I still raced. I still learned. And I walked away better than when I showed up.

The biggest blessing of the weekend wasn’t the position I finished in — it was the people. I got to meet so many great people in this hobby, have real conversations, and see doors open that I honestly didn’t expect. The opportunities coming from this weekend for Outlaw RC, content, future events, and community building are something I’m truly thankful for.

And for everyone who has been asking about the next bash event — I have not forgotten. Those conversations are still happening, and after this weekend, I’m even more motivated to keep building something special for the RC community.

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me, talked with me, helped me, and made this weekend feel like I belonged there.

This was bigger than racing.

This was growth.

Made a mini crawler course because... RC duh!!! Drop cloth 3m super77 spray adhesive and aluminum foil. $30 course and hours of fun. Finishing up some builds today but first some me time with my crawler and coffee.

Big things coming next month and getting ready for the next event. May became so busy but I've seen everyone still getting together which I love.

Big things moving for Outlaw RC and looking forward to the growth.
