Hard to believe this ugly red mutant was the very first MORAD sinker 🤣🤦🏻

Started with burnt wooden moulds, hand bent wires, rough pours and a heap of trial and error in the shed. Some of these early versions looked absolutely terrible… but every single failure taught us something.

Different shapes. Different wire positions. Different balance points. Testing what held bottom, what lifted properly and what actually survived real West Coast conditions.

Now we’ve ended up with the MORAD system you see today 🦾

Another MORAD system heading across the ditch — this time all the way to Perth, Australia 👌🎣

Still blows my mind seeing a small NZ-built system making its way overseas already. Massive appreciation to everyone backing MORAD in these early stages 🦾

Can’t wait to see the Rock Hoppers getting put to work in Aussie surf and current conditions 🔥
