for quite some time i had this design in mind , ever since i starting building the very popular session model,, which has great volume projectinon and tone ,, the session is a part of the large body family ,,whats different with this model ? its even bigger ,, 2 inches wider , (13 inch wide) long scale 14.7 inch , jumbo fret wire , stained sitka spruce top , indian rosewood back and sides , finely tuned bracing, i am extremely happy with the tone and volume ,,,welcome the Big Session mandolin,,, it will now be added to the siveen collection and available to order ,enjoy the photos😁

Two 10 string mandolins just completed, both indian rosewood back and sides ,, one with alpine spruce the other sitka spruce,, longer scale 14.7 inch , tailpeice designed to give the C strings a long lenght while the E strings are given a shorter lenght ( due to the longer scale , ) enjoy the photos😁

heres a video of the large body made with 200 year old mahogany back and sides , oil finish ,if your interested send me a pm ,, i like the tone of this one😁this mandolin is now sold ,, but i have enough of that old mahogany to build another 7 and they will also be finish in a hand applied oil finish ,

two large body mandolin just completed and there available ! , one has 200year old mahogany back and sides and a hand rubbed oil finish ,, the other is select indian rosewood with my usual waterbased lacour,, both have alpine spruce tops pm me if interested 😁
