As you step into our Brilliance of Birds exhibition, one of the first pieces you see is David Cemmick's quadriptych, Birds for All Seasons, created especially for this exhibition.

Drawing on years of field sketchbooks, David has depicted 123 bird species recorded in Cumbria across the four seasons. How many can you spot?

David's work is displayed alongside 56 artists celebrating the beauty, behaviour, symbolism, and diversity of birds through ceramics, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and textiles.
