The premise of this book was so interesting to me! 3 friends mysteriously vanished after a night out, but only 1 friend, Olivia, remained unharmed… 🔎

The book started really strong, with the narrative from both Olivia and Jenna, but I think it was perhaps a tad too drawn out. The story didn’t captivate me as much as it could’ve which was disappointing!

But it’s not my last Claire Douglas read, I’ve heard good things about The Couple at No.9 🤩

🌟 3 stars

This might be my fave Emily Henry book (so far 🤭)

I’ve never been a big romance reader, but this just felt so genuine and authentic, the constant heartache that Harriet felt just broke MY heart.

A perfect summer read, 4 stars 🌟

Tradwife culture meets Shutter Island 🤯

Yesteryear has only been out for a month and already feels like a cult classic. It was so brilliantly bizarre, and I really could not guess the ending at all!

Along with being a really crazy read – very up and down – it also touches on topics such as gender roles, religion, political moments, and influencer culture, all seen through the eyes of main protagonist, Natalie.

I really couldn’t decide if I was rooting for her, or if I hated her 😅

I won’t give anything away as I really think everyone should give this a read! There seems to be a very 50/50 divide on whether you love or hate this book, and I’m interested to hear what you think!! Especially my book club members on Thursday 🤭

If you’ve never read this, I really recommend that you do 🤯

I Who Have Never Known Men was extraordinary. I usually would hate to be left with more questions than answers after finishing it, but this book made me feel so deeply about what it is to be human, to have connections and relationships with those you love.

I really never knew where this book was going but it had me hooked and I will definitely be thinking about this for a long long time…

What I read last week as a 9-5 girlie 📚

Getting the pages in during a busy week is sometimes so hard, so I more than make up for it on a weekend 🤭
