Welcome to the world Reggie 💙

Romeo’s officially got his promotion to big brother! We took Romeo into theatre and he was a great support throughout 👣

Our beautiful baby boy was welcomed via Emergency C-Section on 24.05.2026 at 10.36am weighing a teeny 5lbs 13oz. He’s about half the size of Romeo 😂

Absolutely thriving and cannot wait to get home to begin life as a family. So sorry guys, they’ll be a lack of pram clean ups going down as I’m a little broken right now 🤪

Once again, we couldn’t shout more highly of South Lakes Birthing Centre and just how incredible every single member of staff here really is! We have been blessed with the same midwives we had with Romeo and for us, that meant everything 💙

Abi Cooling Cot #3

Production is now complete and ready for delivery to Blackpool Hospital 🏥

I feel like we’ve waited a long time for this one! Our little piece of the Abi Cooling Cot arrived this morning. It really frustrate me that Facebook has a little bug and won’t let me amend the little ‘bio’ section and update the cots ordered to date so here’s below 😑

We are also now funding bereavement charms for both parents in partnership with Perfect Charm for bereaved parents in the Morecambe Bay Trust. We received our first request just a couple of weeks ago! These are handmade, with ink-less prints of babies hands or feet. These are Romeo’s actual footprints, we purchased these ourselves as a sample.

No one should ever have to leave the hospital with a memory box, and not their baby. Giving parents something personal, to wear proudly and close to their hearts was important for us and it was something we felt was missing.

We also have a few pieces here and there to purchase to upgrade the experience within the Rainbow Suite at South Lakes Birthday Centre 💙

Lots of Love, and thank you everyone for all their support this past weekend whether you helped, donated, came along, shared a post. Everything contributing towards making it a huge success 🎉

What a weekend…

We put in over 9 hours of preparation yesterday, and matched that again today!

Absolutely incredible turn out, over 250 buyers once again! I cannot believe the before, and after. The complete obliteration. We had two back rooms still full of stock before we opened, we replenished constantly and it just flew!

Thank you to everyone that came along, purchased, donated and everything in between. All our amazing friends and family that helped with the event, we’re so grateful. We raised £3269 which is just insane. We will now fulfil the request for a privacy pram for the bereavement suites located at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Furness General Hospital along with some new furnishings for the Rainbow Suite at Furness General Hospital.

We have now also established the footprint jewellery supply to bereaved parents in the Rainbow Suite at Furness General Hospital and Willow at Royal Lancaster Infirmary. This will give every bereaved parent the opportunity to create a sentimental piece of jewellery with their babies footprints and name engraved, kept close to their heart to be worn proudly. It may seem like such a small gesture, but in our experience it’s massive. Leaving the hospital having given birth with just a memory box is unimaginable. Creating that memory box is precious, but having something physically present all day, every day for us was essential. We purchased ours ourselves when we first had such service in the pipeline, and we wear and treasure them every single day. We wanted every single bereaved parent to have access to that, at no cost.

We will also continue to fund Abi Cooling Cots in the North West where requested (at this present time, we have 4 currently in production).

I hope everyone found a bargain, was happy with their purchases and left wanting more! I do need a little break, I won’t touch the donations for a few days now. It’s been an overwhelming three weeks of preparation. It has consumed my life these past three weeks, I won’t lie. Every single item there today, had passed through my hands, priced, washed, tagged, tested, in the house, out the house, into my car, out my car. The scale of that, when you see all that alongside the fact I work for a living 😅

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. We started off something little, which has just grown and grown unimaginably.

A few have asked, next date. 5th July… we had originally advertised 11am - 1pm. But after today, the volumes, the replenishment. We’ve come to the conclusion that 9 hours of prep for two hours of sale is unbalanced. We’ve revised the times, to 11am - 4pm. We are going to run this as a purely Remembering Romeo event, and trial. Today we were blessed with the weather, had we not, the overspill would have been unbearable we were so thick with donations. The event ran over significantly, we reopened and welcomed a whole load more buyers. We decided to open again, and half price. We needed to clear some space to allow for rotation, it achieved that. I don’t want it to become stagnant. It won’t be a regular. We will just amend pricing accordingly.

Tomorrow I will be travelling to Manchester to present and speak about Remembering Romeo at the NHS North West Maternity Shared Learning Event. Incredibly blessed to have been invited, and running on fresh air at this point but undoubtedly an incredible opportunity and experience.

Congratulations if you made it this far! We are very grateful for your support.

Lots of Love Chelsea, Christian, Aria, Leo, Forever Baby Boy Romeo & Monty (that won’t be his real name) 😂 💙

Little brief, and a few notes for tomorrow!

Entry: £1 / Children FREE (Cash - Please try have the correct amount)

We will begin the process of collecting door money, and stamping around 10.45am to speed up the process. We will cut off entry at capacity which will be capped, and it will then be done on an in/out basis. Please, be patient. We’ve poured our souls into this event, it will be busy. There’s plenty to go! There is more to go out, and volunteers will actively putting out more and more.

Please BRING A BAG! Make your own life easy! No one likes playing octopus 🐙

We are utilising outdoor space, entry monies will be paid prior to entry to the beer garden.

The donation box will be move just outside the beer garden, a few have messaged about dropping off when coming to the sale, that’s totally fine. It will just be the alternative side of the outdoor area to normal.

Individual sellers will predominantly accept cash. Remembering Romeo will accept cash and card. We’ve no preference. Remembering Romeo tills will be located on exit, in the kitchen. All prams in the sheltered beer garden will need to be paid for there and then, and can be collected afterwards. You will be issued a ticket to collect as proof of purchase. We will have a collection point outside the main doors so you can drive up, and collect.

We have a one way system in place (hence the stamping by default for re-entry) Once you pass into the function, you reach a point of no return except via making payment at the tills. Should you wish to go into Remembering Romeo first, then the individual sellers afterwards that’s fine. Just loop around.

I would advise babies in carriers where possible, just to try keep the room flowing. I appreciate this isn’t always possible!

Every penny goes into our fundraising and we will not tolerate theft. The CCTV is crystal clear, and anyone found to be dishonest will be banned from the premises indefinitely. Unfortunately this is exactly why we’ve had to put such system in place 😑

Please respect our neighbours when parking. Parking on the club premises is absolutely fine, we manage the car park but I expect it will fill fast!

Most of all, please come along, get a bargain and enjoy the process. If you’re not wanting to be in the hustle of it all and want a quieter experience just come a little later on once it’s calmed. The event always has a really nice aura, and we’d love to maintain that. Should we run past 1pm, so be it. We won’t hurry or pressure anyone through.

I’m signing off for the night, as we still have a lot to do in the morning and I’m ruined 😆

I’ll pop on and do a live video in the morning once we’re set so you can have a visual idea of layout, where is what, and how everything is set out.

Sleep well, I won’t 😆

See you tomorrow 👋
