It's Learning Disability Week, and we're celebrating two of our fantastic colleagues, Emily and Philippa 💙

Having both joined Metrocentre through the Gateshead Access to Employment Service, Emily, who has autism, and Philippa, who has Down syndrome, have gone on to build successful careers with us and this year celebrate an incredible 10 years! 🙌

Metrocentre has worked alongside GATES for many years and continues to support opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities and those who are neurodivergent through partnerships with organisations including Hiyed CIC, Newcastle College and the North East Autism Society.

Here's to Emily, Philippa and the many individuals helping to make our workplaces and communities stronger every day 💙
