Kirkcaldy Orchestral Society has been inspiring musicians and making music in Fife since 1875. The 70-strong community orchestra is a beacon for musicians of all stages and ages playing alongside each other, with players calling the orchestra their ‘happy place’. An integral part of the community, they support local charities during the festive season, collaborate with other local groups, and perform each year in the Fife Festival of Music. The orchestra collaborates with Fife College to take its Composition Projects into local secondary schools and HM Prison Glenochil.
