Welcome to the digiLED family PJ Pedroni!

Just in time for Infocomm 2026 we're excited to welcome PJ as Senior Director of National Sales USA.

PJ will lead efforts to grow awareness of digiLED in new markets, highlighting the company’s global track record of delivering ambitious projects across sports, immersive experiences, attractions, and DOOH applications.

Having started his career in outdoor advertising, PJ traces his passion for ambitious visual experiences back to one of the defining projects of his early career: an award-winning spectacular installation in New York City. The project, located at the famous intersection of 42nd Street and Broadway, won "Spectacular of the Year" in 2002 and sparked a lifelong appreciation for projects that push creative boundaries and capture public imagination on a grand scale.

“I’m a creative guy at heart,” said PJ Pedroni. “What really drew me to digiLED is their broad reach in the market and the expertise to tackle each sector and deliver truly outstanding projects. With over 20 years of proven work and a rich heritage, it’s exciting to join a brand with such a strong portfolio. That gives me the platform to open new doors.”

PJ also highlighted the strength of the team. “I’ve worked with Malik Khan before, so I know exactly what he brings to the table and having met the wider team now I can say there is a lot of talent throughout the global operation”.

In his new role, PJ plans to build on his extensive out-of-home experience with a sharper focus on spectaculars, moving beyond standard billboard projects. He is particularly enthusiastic about the immersive and attractions sector.

“This is a fast-emerging market for LED screen technology, and digiLED’s ability to create truly bespoke screens that seamlessly integrate with complex architecture makes it a great fit,” he explained.

“I’m also looking forward to inviting potential partners to lunch-and-learn sessions at our Las Vegas Pixel Depot showroom. The message is simple: we’re not just another manufacturer – and that’s why it matters. We build exactly what you need at trusted production facilities, with quality, reliability and service at the core.”

Contrast – the made-up specification! 👀

And let’s be honest, contrast is one of the greyest areas in LED specs (pun intended). It’s critical for great image quality, yet it’s rarely verified properly before making a purchasing decision.

At digiLED we’re not tied to a single factory. Instead, we choose each production partner based on the specific type of screen our client needs. That flexibility lets us run real shootouts and side-by-side comparisons with one clear goal: to verify actual contrast performance in real-world conditions.

We've been delivering standout brand activations longer than most!

Back in 2017, digiLED ASIA completed this impressive project in Japan, helping set a new standard for immersive brand storytelling.

⚠️If you're looking at LED screens for similar applications, here are a few important things worth paying attention to:
➡️Contrast is critical – especially in direct sunlight. It's one of the biggest factors in real-world image quality, yet it's a spec that's often inflated. Always ask for a proper shootout before you commit.
➡️Thermal efficiency – cheaper screens tend to run hot, which shortens component life, pushes up air conditioning costs, and increases your overall running expenses.
➡️Dynamic brightness – no screen in this type of environment should run at a fixed level. Ambient light sensors that automatically adjust NIT output are essential for consistent performance and energy efficiency.
➡️Ease of servicing – if the screen is going up against glass, you need easy rear access. Front-service-only designs can become a real headache later.
➡️Strong local support – check average repair times and make sure you have genuinely accountable service on the ground, not just promises.
