I’ve just taken a booking for a party in July. (Yes, it’s still only March - I think!).

Which got me thinking… what are the main approaches to party planning?

1. The Last-Minute Magician – You’re sending invites while icing the cake on the day of the party.

2. The Right-on-Time Organiser – Booked a few weeks ahead, with just enough time to feel prepared.

3. The Master Planner – You had this party in the diary before last year’s even ended.

I think I’m mostly a number 2 with a bit of 1 - I book some things early, feel a false sense of security thinking I’ve got it all sorted, then have a last-minute panic when I realise I haven’t!
