A reduced entry from previous weeks met with a steady trade throughout, resulting in a complete clearance. A good demand for well fleshed cull ewes + hoggets is still apparent.
The average price for hill couples was to a large extent reflected by the age of the ewe.

Cafodd y Mart archwiliad y bore yma - Pasiodd popeth heb unrhyw broblemau. Mae'r Arolygydd yn hapus iawn gyda phopeth yn y Mart 😃

Mi fydd y mart yn ôl yn Bontarfynach ddydd Mercher yma, y 22ain o Ebrill, 2026. Ar ôl cyfnod prysur o wyna- Edrych ymlaen i weld bawb!

GOOD NEWS 🤩

🐑 Mart had an inspection this morning - Everything passed with no issues. Inspector very happy with everything! 😃

The mart will be back on Wednesday, the 22nd of April, 2026. After a busy period of lambing - Looking forward to seeing everyone!

‼️ Mart Report 25.02.2026‼️

A seasonal entry of both ewes and lambs met with a steady trade throughout.
Again the bigger the better held to be true, although smaller types also experienced a lively trade.
Next Mart will not be until the 22nd of April, when regular marts will recommence.

Everyone that’s coming to the dinner tomorrow evening, please can you be at Halfway around 7pm, hopeing to eat 7.30pm. If you would like to bring a Raffl Prize you are more than welcome to.
