I’m often asked if I can remodel jewellery, reuse inherited gold, or work with customer-provided stones.

While I completely understand the sentiment behind it — and there are some amazing jewellers who specialise in that kind of work — it’s never really been the way I make jewellery, or an area I’ve personally chosen to specialise in within my own process.

My work is very rooted in hand-carved wax and lost wax casting, and because of that I prefer to work with materials I source myself and know throughout the making process.
