A NEW free pattern is on the blog, with a free PDF to download until end of tomorrow Monday 11th. May 2026. Link is in comments. It's the sweetest (and surprisingly quick) little baby cardigan, that is worked from the top down, in one piece. Pattern is is both US and UK crochet terms and it's perfect for oddments of yarn too. It's definitely one to enjoy making, and I can't wait to see the colours you choose 🥰

Some things are worth treasuring 🥰

We recently lost a lovely family member - mum’s cousin - and this stunning card was found in her belongings. It was sent to her on her 21st birthday, which was almost 70 years ago.

Yet the colours are still gorgeous, and the poem inside was just as lovely as the card itself. The gold embellishments are beautiful, and I can understand why it was too precious to throw away.

I would love to use it as knitting or crochet inspiration - I’m thinking a scarf or a beautiful blanket 🥰🥰. What do you think? What would it inspire you to make?

You know how much I love knitted and crocheted food, and these yummy donuts are no exception. I enjoyed knitting these samples so much - what great fun they were.
