Wet Felting Workshop: The Japanese Garden at Tatton Park with Private Garden Tour

Inspired by the tranquil beauty of Tatton Park’s Japanese Garden, this hands-on session will help you to create a stunning landscape image of the Japanese Garden using the art of wet felting, capturing the serene water features, delicate plants, and graceful designs that define this unique garden.

Led by Vicky Pulman of Needlessly Felted, this workshop is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced felters. Through step-by-step guidance, you will learn the process of wet felting to bring to life the calming atmosphere of the Japanese Garden. The focus will be on creating the flowing textures and layered colours that reflect the peaceful harmony of this iconic space.

Menai Memories 🌿🧶

A little look back at our last Needlessly Felted retreat in beautiful Menai Bridge 💚

Three days of wool, colour, creativity, laughter, good food and a brilliant group of people coming together for a proper creative escape.

Lots of felting, plenty of chatting, some excellent food, beautiful surroundings and that lovely retreat feeling where time slows down and you can just get stuck into making something.

✨ TWO YEARS OF NEEDLESSLY FELTED ✨

Two years ago, Needlessly Felted officially began… and honestly, I’m not quite sure where those two years have gone! 🥹🧡

From those first tentative workshops to all the wonderful people, wool, creativity, laughter and slightly ridiculous amounts of fluff along the way, it’s grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.

And what better way to celebrate two years than with a Prosecco & Food Felting evening at Sam Dale last night? 🥂🐑

A table full of delicious food, glasses of fizz, piles of gorgeous wool and a room full of lovely people getting stuck into felting. There was chatting, laughing, creating and quite a lot of “is that supposed to look like that?” 😂

It was such a lovely evening and a perfect little snapshot of everything I love about Needlessly Felted: bringing people together, making things with our hands and having a bloody good time while we’re at it.

Thank you to everyone who has come along to a workshop, bought something, shared a post, recommended me to a friend or simply followed along over the last two years. Every single bit of support has helped Needlessly Felted become what it is today. 💚
