Ballater Writes, a local writing group who meet in Ballater Library, has produced an anthology of their short stories and poetry. Some of the members were at the recent book sale at the Victoria Hall. Their lovely book, A Skelf of Blue, is now available in Deeside Books at £7.00.

Oban was asked to dress as an adjective word for school today for World Book Day (UK & Ireland)💛

He chose the word “Glitchy”, after his experience with electronic games always glitching and loading. We chatted about the fact books are always available and ready to be picked up no matter where you are - no WiFi / Internet needed. Good job he loves a good book!
