New Soul Ableta Kiosk radio broadcast, Modern british composer & new finds ( Juin 2026 / Bxl )...
This month, I wanted to put together a special programme on modern British composers (from the early 20th century) such as William Walton, Frank Bridge, Gustav Holst, Arthur Bliss and so on. Because their works are performed far too rarely and are often not widely known ( and i really like their music what is very creative ) ...But in the meantime, I’ve also come across a number of innovative projects that have inspired me to explore the idea of blending classical music with some new musical styles. ( Just to name a few, A great collaboration between Dj Spooky and Kronos quartet about the roots of US music and history / A hip hop contemporary project CLIPPING with a few tracks composed by US minimalist and noise composer such as YOKO ONO / New orleans native jazz scene Jaimie Branch and Christian scott in their innovative Jazz albums )
