The whimsy of this pair almost breaks my heart. These salt and pepper shakers are vintage giftware by Bramble and Clover who were popular in the 90s. These guys were actually gifted to me when I first moved to Canada.

It’s an appliance kind of week!

This Moffat stove/oven combo was popular in the 1950s. It came out of a house where a couple lived for 70+ years. This oven shows some wear and tear around the edges, but it’s in pretty good shape overall. We believe it to be in working condition, but have not tested it.

We are still working on cleaning it up, but we live the way it goes in our “kitchen” room.

This adorable Maytag wringer washing machine was pulled out of a house where the original owners had lived for 70 years. We believe it still works, though we don’t have a water hook up to test it fully. We plugged it in and the motor sounds good. These square-tub machines were popular from 1966-1983.

This adorable little clog displays a hand-painted scene of t’Lootsje (which means ‘Little Shed’), the first distillery of the Dutch Spirits company, Lucas Bols, Amsterdam. This was a promotional item sold in the 1950s-1970s.

We love the natural patina. And we think it looks exceptional as a tiny wall pocket vase.

We love the lustre on this hematite waterfall fringe necklace. Not sure what the green stones are, but they are probably jade or some kind of moss agate. We haven’t had it tested, but it’s a lovely piece with a high quality screw clasp. Most likely dates from 1970s-1980s.

There’s something merging to said for jewelry crafted in the 1900s. It was made to last!
