Today I decided to close early and run away. A whole 15 minutes early!
I drove up to Fruitvale to visit some of the Stores there. After browsing and window shopping, the next stop was the FRUITVALE PUB & GRILL. Wings Wednesday so I ordered take out to bring home.
I arrived just after a large group were seated, so had a bit of a wait for my order. How pleasant the wait was. There were 5 or 6 groups already seated and sounds of various happy, pleasant conversations wafted up to the table I was sitting at. I was near the bar and could see the staff moving about attentivity and quickly when they were needed at a table. Quick, efficient service to all, given with a smile on their faces and in their voices.
Once home we found our wings were great, as usual.
It is a shame we do not have a similar Old fashioned Pub in Trail. Might have to go to Fruitvale more often.

Here is a sample of the cook books in the CLOSING OUT BOOK STORE SALE.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 4 to 8pm
Bring a box or two and fill them up with wonderful books. Great to give as Christmas gifts.
