Sound Factory is a proud sponsor of MusicFest Fanfare 2026 (Concert Band and Jazz Band Festival), taking place at Vanier Hall today and tomorrow! Performances are free to attend, so come out and see some excellent performances by young musicians and community music groups from across Northern BC!

Happy Spring Break! Please note that we have updated our Spring Break hours slightly, and our retail shop is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm this week and next week, and we are closed this weekend and next weekend. Regular retail hours and music lessons will resume on Monday March 30 at 10:00 am!

GOOD NEWS! Our apologies for the late notice, but we've made a very last minute decision to run a jam session next week! It will be on Tuesday afternoon 1 pm to 4 pm (a bit longer than usual because it's spring break!). This jam group will have a featured spot at Sound Factory Fest 2026 on June 20, so we'll be getting these young people ready to take this band out of the warehouse and onto the big stage at Knox! New members are always welcome... email us if you have a young Sound Factory student who wants to play in a rock/punk/metal/folk/blues/any genre, really band!!!

Our apologies for the short notice, but JAM CAMP IS ON for this coming ProD day on Monday January 26! It will run from 11:00 am to 1:15 pm. Weird timing as it is lunch time, but we’ll have some snacks to tide the teen masses over! Please sign up in the shop or email us at [email protected]! The price is now $32 per person! for 2.25 hours of rock and/or roll! :)
