Morning things: out on my new Red Rocket and it really is nice slowing down and being able to see things, stop and talk to people! As seen in photo the new box holds a full box of Beer! Chatted with Termite and his dog Coco near Hortons on George, reminded me of the first time we met in O8 or so..Sophie had some new duds on looking good! This 61 Plymouth Fury was parked on a car lot near McKnights..It looks like I am in good company at the Pathway of Fame. My friend Lyn Miller upgraded her bike today, I've been bugging her for years! Someone please tell Cliff to come get his bike or we will find another home for it, thanks

todays beer Yoga Session with CCM Dave was in memory of our friend Joe O'Dette who left us on Sunday past quite by surprise after emergecncy heart surgery, so sudden, so sad, so fast. I can say, he was a good thoughtful man! Dave brought a can of Joes favourite East Coast Beer. Picaroons and a vintage pic of Joe with Don Skuce taken some years back....blessings

Lovely Day, not to hot not to cold, Day Off, stayed home, worked on my scooter, put a new Labatts Classic box on the big unit sourced from Mary Lowry a few years back, Loved that Beer Big time...worked on a recently purchased youth bike for a friend, Christine ran over the dandelions on the lawns, wee Charles and his parents visited, he pulling himself up now,sitting on a colourful blanket on the back lawn, much like a day in heaven!

The Sun brought he people out in droves, , nice lady is taking a near mint vintage road bike to her daughter in London, price for the bike only $120, new bar tape ,full tune up, new tires! Glad to find it a good home, better keep that one under lock and key! Earlier Grayson, calm and mild mannered bought the excellent valued Norco hybrid, price $120, who else has serviced bikes at these prices!!!Only Lumpy Bikes.

Donor of the Week, came from Al The Plumbers son last winter, got it running front gear we locked in top sprocket, I came across 6 people on the steps at the Armoury across from the Brock Mission, I opened the trunk and shouted out, "does anyone wanta bike, all six put their hands in the air, fastest man got it, name of Malcolm, hope he has safe rides!

New Delivery method for donor bikes, possibly pick up repairs etc, new owner did not show up at 4 PM Rendezvous front doors of the Memorial Centre, hoping he calls tomorrow, you know the costs all ad up, that card I gave him cost me a quarter, 25 cents. Plan on putting a steel if possible tray on the back where the closed case once was, impressed at the ground the machine covers at 20 KMH, for some reason it would not pass the Beer Store till I bought 8 cans of over proof Stout 8-6, the new Beer Yoga Finisher! Fellow name Evans scooped up the pink kid bike and we through in a bonus strider bike! Life is good!

Along came Hank, why he parked that big dodge Van on the street and unloaded the Original Washboard Hank Single Speed Norco, black with red fenders and a nice set of white shoes. He said, "here you go son, just fix the bearings and do what you want with it, she has served me well all these years. I remember one Sunday up at ACME watching them artists giggle at a table top hockey tournament, and there was Hank on that same pony stopping at all the telephone poles sticking flyers on them for an upcoming gig..Right there and then I made up my mind to call that type of bike a Washnoard Hank Single Speed Bike. thanks Brother! Grateful these two Trent students bought ht 1960s CCM Monza, a former orad bike for ////455 today. I bought htat mascot ayear ago from a mn who came from Port Hope in Mid June with his neighbour bike, she was 89 an had rode it exclusively every day of her life in the good weather. the bike came with all that old energy and a set of recently installed 24 by 1 3/8 th tires, a hard tire to get these days...earlier this spring a shop called me looking for them tires and balked at my price when i told them I could sell them a running bike for $40...so though at times I felt like The Old Man and the Bike I never gave up hope that I could find the old Monza a home. Wondering how the old woman who owned it is doing, fuess i will have to leave that to the Bike Gods Talk.
