Friday Night Flies is your source for informative step-by-step fly fishing fly patterns. Local fly tiers give you their recipes for successful fly fishing on fresh waters in BC Canada. All the shows are recorded live through YouTube Live feeds on Friday nights around 5pm/pst. The tutorials are interactive so anyone can participate and get your fishing/tying questions answered live. Found some super bright limey's yesterday. Had to try and dupe them. I'm also going to try unfinished chironomids tomorrow. I've always finished my flies with either Sally's or solarez. From what I've seen so far is water gives your thread a much different look than products. Any feedback?

It’s time for another fly tying contest and the stakes are UP! This new contest will definitely make you up your game. This is how you can enter.

-Post your Favorite Chironomid Pattern to our page https://www.facebook.com/fridaynightflies .
-You must be the one that tied the fly and include material list in the description.
-Each contestant is allow a maximum of 2 flies.
-Each like and Comment are worth 1 point each, only 1 comment per person per fly will count.
-The Trick is to get as many likes and comments as possible.
-The prize is a brand new Solarez 3 Pack of fly tying resins, 5g tube of each, Thin, Thick and Flex
-Draw will be June 12th, 2020 5PM PST
-Prizes have No Cash Value
-Any discrepancy will be settled by Friday Night Flies Judges
-We need at least 5 entries to make it worth picking a winner, if we don’t get at least 5 entries the contest rolls over to the next week.
