When are you opening the entire mall ?
Why is St. Germain Bakery considered an essential service when you have Second Cup, Starbucks and Tim Horton's locations which are considered cafes shuttered per the Ontario government's decree? I agree with the closure of anything but Shoppers, Best Buy and Lenscrafters. Baked goods just doesn't strike me as essential.
All those employers who work at the mall and retail store. They should shorten their mall hours and retail store hours. Noone is gonna visit after 6 pm. Keep everyone safe. Everywhere is dead 💀. 🤔 this my opinion.

I visited Markville Mall earlier this evening (Monday March 4/19) and while shopping with my 6 year old son I lost my earring.
I am not a big jewellery person, but they are sentimental because they were given to me by my grandmother more than 20 years ago before she passed away.
I know it is a long shot but I was hoping maybe someone turned it in to customer service or one of the stores I visited:
Apple Store
Walmart
MAC
Tim Hortons
I would be eternally grateful for any assistance trying to get the earring back.

You might wanna correct the indicator location in your about section (right hand column), cause it says Sherway Gardens as well takes you to a map of it and not Markville.
I live in the area and Markville is constantly changing stores to look more sheik with your Swarofski Crystal store and whatnot. But I would really suggest you add a few stores and up your food court game.
One easy thing I would do is where H&M men section is on the top floor, I would extend it to the whole floor like say Eaton Centre. Men also like to shop but it sucks when we have to go downtown cause you only really cater to only women. I would take that existing kids department in the back top floor section and have it setup in the Town Shoes section next to H&M so they can make an H&M Kids or something since they are closed.
Where the H&R Block Accounting is currently you should put a Lindt chocolate store there, I'm aware you have a laura secord and a purdys...but lindt has a ton of flavors and specials thats why they are in Eaton Centre and Scarborough Town Centre doing well.
As for your food court when the Amaya restuarant decides its not feasible anymore, cause it sells curry to a community where you can find better establishments that sell more for less east of Markville mall.
You really need to put in a Chipotle, not only do they sell delicious vegetarian but definitely tasty meat options
for a very decent price. Food is fresh, and customized to order vs your other fast food options you have besides Sushi Q.
And Extreme Pita, please who orders there? Perhaps a Koryo Korean BBQ, Mammas Pizza or a little Caesers Pizza?? Mr Sub is also always going to come up short to Subway, replace it with a Subway Sandwich.
But you really need to put a Chipotle in your mall, if nothing else it will drive up traffic.
If you really wanted to drive up traffic then a Chipotle and a Popeyes Chicken would be gangbusters, but
I'll settle with having Popeyes across the street.
