All that is left in my shop are buttons and findings for making jewelry. Thank you for all your kind comments and well wishes. And a big thank you for being the best customers ever! It’s been a slice. I’ll be permanently closing my Etsy store at the end of June. It was fun while it lasted! Thank you so much again.

Wow! That was quite the response to my last post. Thank you to everyone who purchased jewelry yesterday. I’m packing it all up today and will mail your purchases this afternoon if that’s how it’s being delivered.

There’s still a bit of everything left but it’s going fast.

While I’ve had a great time making and selling jewelry the time has come to wind down my business. I wanted to give my Canadian Two Dories Down fans (My apologies to my American family and friends but it has become too cost prohibitive to mail to the US due to Trump’s tariffs.) a heads up that everything in my Etsy shop will be 50% off starting June 5th and ending June 26th.

If you see something you’d like prior to June 5th just let me know. I’ll mark it down before you purchase it. I also want to let you know that I have a dozen or so pairs of pearl earrings (shown hanging together) and a couple other items that have never made it to my shop so if anyone wants to come by to shop, it’s all 50% off too.

It’s been quite a while since I last posted here as I’ve been taken up with helping my 91 year old Mom get adjusted to her new home at Northwood. She’s been there just over a year now and is doing fairly well. Things at my end are getting back to my new normal and this has me thinking about what that is exactly. I’ve decided that I’m no longer going to make gemstone bracelets (I will still have my pearl bracelet line).

To this end I will be putting all gemstone bracelets on half price. The sale will run on Etsy from March 1st to March 22nd. If any of you are interested in purchasing a bracelet prior to that just drop me a line and I’ll drop the price before you purchase it.

I'm happy to see the rain today, both because we REALLY need it and also because it gives me time inside to work on jewelry. Almost warm enough to get back out in the garden but thought I'd get another necklace posted before I go. I've made a couple of these using sparkly spinel and decided to try making another using a different stone. For this one I've used sweet little amethyst rounds that sparkle when the light hits them. Decided to take a quick break from the garden and post this necklace that I made a couple of weeks ago. This hammered freshwater pearl pendant is a good size. The beautiful white coin pearl has been treated giving it a bit of additional colour: pinks and greens can be seen depending on how the light hits it.
