We have been going thru acoustic guitars here like crazy the past two months and I’m working late into the nights getting the backlog of acoustic guitars that are waiting to be fixed up and tuned up and out. But I have also been getting a bunch of great starter acoustics out and a bunch for under $200. So come and get your self a great couch strummer, a starter or something for the campfire. Lots more an acoustics going out soon.

Howdy! We want to take this opportunity not only to offer two Mainline records for sale but also to showcase two of Mendelson Joe’s guitar used both in Mainline as well as his solo work that we have in our studio collection. The first one is a 1969 Guild M-20 and the other is a 1957 Gibson ES-125 T 3/4. The Guild can be seen on the cover of his 1972 solo album Mr. Middle Of The Road. Over the years the guitars became more and more an outlet for artwork, perhaps frustration and of course humour. We are so proud to have these in our studio collection and have been used in both recordings here as well as teaching. The guitars will be at the shop for the week so if you’d like to see them pop on by! Did you see Mainline or Joe play one of these beauts back in the day? We’d love to hear any Joe stories!

Here is some awesome video of the same 1966 silver top area Fender Rhodes Bass keys that we have for sale right now at the shop. The perfect example of how it sounds and with a song that you all know. It’s the sound of the doors and the exact model that Ray played. This video really shows a great example of it’s sound and tone and how it’s used plus it’s some pretty wicked playing.

Thank you everyone for another absolutely incredible weekend in the shop. Lots of laughs, stories and visits from folks including our pals The Sheepdogs and our buddy Ian Thomas.
