For a guitarist, it’s the most portable thing you’ll find that still lets you play everything you already know. For someone curious about a different sound, it opens up a whole different set of voicings on a small body.

Turns out the people who worry most about whether they’re musical are usually the ones who take it seriously, show up, and actually learn. It’s a pretty good filter.

Ever wondered where Honolua Ukuleles actually operates out of? Here's the answer.

Earlier this year, Honolua moved into a space at Shedpoint — a co-warehouse and co-office building in Calgary that's home to a number of small local businesses. This is where Dave works, where every order gets inspected before it ships, and where customers can actually come see the instruments in person. Walk-in hours aren't posted because it doesn't happen often enough to justify it — but if you want to visit, just reach out first and he'll make it work.
