LAST DAYS.
We are finally at the end of what has been such a whirlwind of a few weeks and Behind the Monkey's last day of trade will be this coming Sunday, 23rd August 2015.

Following our last day, we will close up shop and start work on cleaning up our treasure trove of a garage, filled with bric-a-brac, merchandising materials and other wonderful things.

We will announce details early next week but a yard sale will be held on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th August for you to all come down and pick up some last minute finds.

There are still beautiful pieces filtering onto the floor daily so be sure to come in have a sneak peak this week!

And now we say goodbye...
It is with a heavy heart that after 8 years on the beautiful Beaufort Street in Highgate, Behind the Monkey will be closing its doors.

With such an ever-evolving retail landscape that is both an exciting and uncertain time for many retailers, we have decided to end on a high and say our goodbyes to pursue some other exciting projects in the not so distant future.

From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for your on-going support. We have loved and cherished our time within Perth's retail community and are so proud to have had the opportunity to share our concept with you over the years.

Retail is such a vital facet of our community and the need to continually and actively engage and support our local retailers is something we hope everyone works together on to ensure Perth continues to grow, remains diverse and encourages on-going creativity.

While this is the end of Behind the Monkey as you all know it, it is not the end of us! From September we begin a new journey nurturing some new ideas and hope to return to you all soon in a brand new concept and form.

We hope you'll join us on this journey and keep in touch because we promise it will be worth the wait!

In the interim, be sure to watch for our next newsletters, our Facebook and our instagram as we must clear all stock and have some beautiful pieces in need of some beautiful homes over the next few weeks.

Sending so much love and light to all of our friends, our customers, our suppliers and our community - you will all be greatly missed.

Tonight is the night! After checking out some of the talent at last night's media launch, it is safe to say that tonight's official exhibition launch for IHART Project is something you're not going to want to miss.

Held at The Odd Fellow in Fremantle tonight between 7-12, forty incredible art pieces, all sculpted from Crystal Head Vodkabottles will be up for grabs.

A range of local, national and international artists are on board including the beautiful Anya Brock Artist pictured here.

We cannot wait.
