What a wonderful morning we had on Monday welcoming Sue Howie from Sashiko Australia to our store! 🪡✨

It was such a pleasure to see Sue's beautiful collection of samples and learn more about the rich history and techniques of Sashiko. She shared fascinating insights into the differences between Sashiko and Boro, how it has evolved and the traditions behind this timeless Japanese stitching art.

Sue is not only incredibly talented but also so generous with her knowledge, making the session both inspiring and informative. Thank you, Sue, for sharing your passion with us!
