Are you having fun this school holiday so far? 🌱
Why not spend a little time in the garden?
We’ve had a lovely mix of new arrivals and restocks come in, so let’s start with some beautiful plants for the garden — because sometimes you just want something beautiful and stunning to look at! 🌺
Protea ‘Little Prince’ PBR has just arrived, with gorgeous red-pink flowers that really stand out in the garden.
Westringia ‘Funky Chunky’ – Coastal Rosemary is a lovely compact native with silvery foliage, perfect for adding a little texture and structure to the garden.
Callicarpa – Native Beautyberry has beautiful foliage followed by those gorgeous purple berries that the birds love.
🌿 Now for the edible garden…
Sambucus australasica – Native Yellow Elderberry is a beautiful Australian native growing around 3–4m, with white flowers followed by yellow edible berries. The ripe berries have a mild, fruity flavour and can be used in jams, sauces and other dishes.
We’ve also had a fresh restock of veggie and herb plants, including Perennial Coriander, Giant Block Capsicum, Sweet Corn, Lebanese Cucumber, Cos Lettuce, Green Okra, Rosella, Garlic Chives, Italian Flat Leaf Parsley, Apple Mint, Banana Mint, Mugwort, Malabar Spinach, Lemon Variegated Thyme, Thyme ‘Tabor’, Comfrey and Bergamot Lemon.
And yes… lavender belongs in the herb garden too! 💜 Vanillaberry Ruffles Lavender and Blushberry Ruffles Lavender are both back in stock.
So whether you’re looking for something beautiful, something edible, or a little bit of both, come and have a wander these school holidays.
Pick out a few favourites, get your hands in the soil and grow something of your own. 🌱
Come say hi to Sparky 🐴, Milo 🐶 and the peacocks 🦚 while you’re here!
