We're looking for a passionate digital marketer with at least 36 months paid advertising experience in social and paid online marketing. You need to have under your belt and a solid foundation of digital marketing skills! You will bring your existing knowledge, skills, and abilities on how to run effective paid advertising campaigns for our Importing business based in Narangba.
You will be working on the digital marketing & online product listings, including graphics for a broad range of products that we sell across Google Ads, Facebook Ads & all the way from Gumtree, Ebay & Amazon!
This role is brand new & Direct Imports is specifically looking for someone who could take on this role part time and we are open to it being managed between school hours if needed. It has the potential to be Full Time in 12 months as you prove that the position is key to the further success of our company.
We already run 1000 online listings but the role has grown past the shared job it is now with multiple staff so we looking for a competent professional who at a drop of a hat can take a new product, design the small advertising images, list on all the selling platforms like ebay, Google Shopping and Amazon and then run a few paid campaigns on Facebook and so on.
This is an END to END marketing & to the right person taking a product that the company has never sold before & seeing it fly out the door with sales should still excite the right candidate.

YOUR ROLE
You will be given the opportunity to drive your own campaign concepts and have ownership over our products and sales approach. You will bring a solid understanding of Paid Ad platforms (including Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and more) and be able to further your skills in these areas.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Be working in a small office of 4 people
Build & manage multi-channel paid advertising campaigns across; Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and more
Continuously optimise and improve your campaigns to deliver the best results for the sale of our products
Write engaging ad copy
Setting up then reviewing Google Analytics, sales and performance data
Plan and execute campaigns that effectively use different channels, tactics, messaging and creative across the sales funnel
Come up with new ideas and tactics and develop concepts that align to our goals
Be actively involved in planning campaigns & providing insights and expertise into online selling
Setting up the Instagram and Amazon accounts and sales channels for the applicable products we sell
This is an autonomous roll so you need to be proactive and able to work alone on projects from start to finish
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
At least 36 months experience (or more!) running paid campaigns across at least Google Ads, Ebay, Facebook & Instagram
Experience across a range of channels in Google Ads will be highly regarded - in particular Google Shopping & Merchant Centre, Display & YouTube advertising
A strong understanding and ability to navigate Google Analytics
Experience reporting on key campaign metrics and developing simple reports
Someone who can confidently take a product that just arrived in our warehouse to the market without leaving their desk
· You are someone who is confident to solve problems without a team behind you all the way
· A tertiary qualification or self-taught is OK with our company but you need to have the goods to work the projects and get results.
WHO ARE DIRECT IMPORTS?
We are a small importing company that started 8 years ago with 1 imported product and now we sell around 1000 products., We are not a large volume, small margin company. We are a fair margin for special products we source that we value-add or adapt to the Australian marketplace to allow better profits.
This is a family business and have purposely stayed small enough to manage with our loyal team which averages around 10 years each person. We reward well but we work hard!
This office environment has no room for potential applicants who play office politics or give negative vibes throughout the business.
Salary: Expect around $30 for $40 per hour depending on experience. During your 3 months probationary period you will be employed for around 20 hours a week. After that time this will grow up to 10 hours more for the right person.
