Quiet in my sock making world this last 10 days..had to do a quick interstate family trip but back at it today sewing up socks ready for the dye pot tomorrow
Shop will be open again as usual Friday.

A fitting way I think on this Anzac Day to pay tribute to all who served..and all who supported those who served.
Making socks on my 1890s sock machine.
I dont know this machines history but it is possible that socks for the war effort were made on it much like these workers did in 1915 on their machines for British soldiers and sailors in World War 1
