The Slimline Knife & Plier Blocks have quietly become one of our most popular products lately 👌🌊

Whether you’re a fisho or a spearo, they’ve been ending up on boats all over the place.

What started as a fix for frustrations on our own boat — bulky storage, exposed blades and wasted space — is now becoming a favourite for keeping things organised without taking over valuable room onboard.

It’s been awesome seeing the different ways people are fitting and using them.

The Sea-Doo LinQ Compatible Speargun Racks are officially live 🌊🔱

Designed to click straight into the Sea-Doo LinQ* esky mount system, these racks are built for real-world days on the water using marine-grade ASA and 316 stainless hardware.

• Twin locking pin design
• Run singles or mount two side-by-side
• Built using UV-stable ASA and carbon fibre easy-grip bungee tabs
• Designed & made in Cairns, FNQ

Almost launch time!
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on a speargun rack for the jetski spearos out there.
This one is designed to click straight into the Sea-Doo LinQ esky brackets.

Big thanks to Aaron (Cairns), Eckhart from (Melbourne) and (Cairns) for working with us to help finalise and test the design.

Refined design has extra height to ensure space for reels, twin locking pins for strength, and tether bungees for additional peace of mind.

Getting very close to launch now.

Our real-life setup on our 2601 Seaswirl Striper. 🌊

Space is precious on a boat — especially when there’s more than one spearo onboard — so we’ve slowly dialled in a setup that keeps everything secure, tidy and easy to grab when you need it.

On our boat we run:

✔️ Double Horizontal Rack – keeping spearguns tidy and easy to access
✔️ Single Horizontal Rack – perfect for our little cray gun in a tighter space
✔️ Single Upright Rack with Bungee Top – tucked neatly in the corner to keep a speargun snug and secure (also available in double and triple versions)

All Tide FNQ racks are built from marine-grade UV-stable ASA and fitted with carbon fibre bungee tabs, so they’re built to handle life in the sun and salt.

This setup has been working beautifully for us — simple, secure and out of the way.

Our story began on our own boat, finding small ways to make life on the water easier. One design led to another, and before long, Tide FNQ was born — creating practical, reliable gear for inside the boat, built to handle real Far North Queensland conditions.
Our little YouTube channel, Travelling Tides, shares the adventures that inspire everything we make — spearing, fishing, island camping, and passing on to our son, Arlington, the kind of life lessons you only learn through adventure. 🌊

One of our most popular designs lately for both the spearos and the fisherman — the Slimline Knife & Plier Block.

We designed this after getting frustrated with our old setup: too wide, blades exposed (not great with kids on board), and wasting valuable space.

The result is a compact, safer storage block that keeps everything organised without taking over your boat.

At just 100 mm wide x 220 mm high, it holds 3 knives + a set of pliers, with blades fully enclosed and self-draining slots so it’s easy to rinse down after a day on the water.

Hey legends 👋
After sharing a customer’s jetski setup in the photo, we’ve had a few jetski spearos reach out with questions — which got us thinking. We’d love to work with a local Cairns spearo to design a speargun rack or two specifically for jetskis.

🔧 The idea’s simple: we come check out your ski, measure things up, have a chat about the best solution for your setup, then design and make a rack to suit. You get a new speargun rack — we get a new design to share with others.

📸 About the photo: it’s one of our single uprights with bungee top, mounted by a customer (thanks Tim for the share). We’re keen to explore purpose-built options for Sea-Doo Fish Pros, as well as JetFish, Jet Tech fish box setups, or anything a bit different.
