💔🇿🇼 A SAD END AFTER A DAY MEANT TO HONOUR HEROES

The sun was blazing 🔥🥵, the drill was demanding, and the officers kept pushing forward in the heat. But sadly, one officer could not make it to the end.

Officer 57 reportedly collapsed after the Heroes Day performance in Harare and later died. Behind that uniform was a human being — someone with family, friends, dreams and people waiting to see him return home. 🫡💔

It is easy to make jokes about the heat, the exhaustion and the hardships people face every day. But today, perhaps we should pause.

Was it simply tiredness? Was the heat too much? Was there enough water, rest and support? These are questions worth asking, not to blame anyone prematurely, but to understand what happened and prevent another family from receiving such painful news.

In a country where many are already carrying the heavy weight of hunger and economic struggle, losing a life during a national celebration is deeply painful.
