From our business experience over the years, we have learnt that the greatest investment that by far surpasses money and other tangible assets is integrity. If any business entity prioritizes integrity, money will chase after such a company or organization and even overtake it.

As a matter of fact, the World called one of our departed Presidents 'Mr Integrity'. Do you wonder why the Kwacha was trading with so much confidence? It was because integrity in national affairs was his number one priority.

What we are witnessing in the Chilubi by election is frightening and unashamedly beyond words. Gone are the days when corruption was conducted under the cover of darkness by criminals. The PF have now shown the world that corruption can be openly and brazenly showcased without remorse, even at the expense of the integrity of our vulnerable people.

From day one after being sworn in office in 2021, the UPND will institutionalize integrity as a bedrock to governance. This was the idea with which our founders chartered this nation, and we solemly promise to live by it.

Unequal Distribution of Relief Food By PF's DMMU Disheartening.

It is a notorious fact that Mwandi district recorded a total crop failure during the 2018/2019 farming season.The drought that hit the district resulted into a hunger crisis that has left many vulnerable in the district.

It is also common knowledge that whenever such a hunger crisis hits a nation or any part of it, it becomes incumbent upon the government of the day to alleviate the people's hunger by providing enough relief food.

While the PF government tried to provide a bit of the much needed relief food in Mwandi district. We are disheartened by the fact that from the time the hunger crisis broke the vulnerable people of Mwandi have only received 12.5 kilogrammes of mealie meal each while the flood victims on the Copperbelt and some parts of Lusaka and Northern Povinces received 25 Kilogrammes of mealie meal each.

This amply demonstrates unequal distribution of the much needed relief food by the PF's DMMU in the country. Therefore, l am appealing to the PF government to ensure that there is equity in the distribution of the much needed food relief through out the country.
