An LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinder is a container used to store and transport LPG safely for cooking and other uses. The diagram of an LPG cylinder shows its important internal and external parts.
1. Gas Outlet
The gas outlet is the opening at the top of the cylinder where the gas comes out. A regulator is connected here to control the flow of gas to the stove.
2. Valve Handwheel
The valve handwheel is used to open or close the gas flow. Turning it controls whether the gas can pass through the outlet.
3. V***r LPG
The v***r LPG is the gaseous form of LPG present in the upper part of the cylinder. When the valve opens, this gas moves through the regulator to the burner.
4. Dip Tube
The dip tube is a pipe inside the cylinder that reaches near the bottom. It helps in transferring LPG from the liquid section when required in some systems.
5. Liquid LPG
The liquid LPG is stored in the lower part of the cylinder under high pressure. LPG is stored in liquid form to save space and increase storage capacity.
6. Cylinder Base
The cylinder base is the bottom support of the cylinder. It keeps the cylinder stable when placed on the floor.
