What an awesome weekend with very little sleep. It has been over a year since I last had an opportunity to be next to the water and we had a lot of fun . I have not been fishing for a while and went out this weekend with my peggy to Donaldson dam. The first 24h only produced 1 carp we decided to move some spots and got 16 runs for the 2nd day. I unfortunately had a big fish bending my hooklink open on my spinner rig and we lost some other fish to.We learned some hard lessons this weekend and we will be back stronger Here are some photos of the bigger carp. Bloody coconut boilies were used again as ground feed, with popups and wafters used as hook baits.
